"Rejuvenating Homes One Room at a Time"
At the beginning of the year, the owners of a local business decided to move
their professional office into their home and consulted Parker House Designs to
help them put together a Design Plan.  Below is the original floor plan along with
some "before" pictures of this partially finished basement.

The plan evolved over time starting with the floor plan that the owners had
chosen from a group of three drawings.  Once that was solidified and walls
constructed, we moved onto flooring, ceiling and lighting options.  

One of the major challenges was furniture placement – four rooms of office
furniture needed to be condensed into a two room location.  With a furniture
plan in place, the business owners had piece of mind that as the furniture was
moved in, everything would fit into the space as planned.  

The finalized floor plan including the furniture layout is shown below:
This professional office space was constructed by the homeowners and
includes much needed storage space, a new bathroom, and two highly
efficient workstations.

A Design Plan does several things;
  1. Through the consultation process, the specific needs of the homeowner
    are determined and become the basis for the Plan.
  2. True measurements confirm how existing furnishings will fit into a space.
  3. 3D views allow the homeowner to "see" how the room will look upon
    completion before any changes are made.
  4. The Plan creates a step-by-step process that makes a potentially
    daunting task seem easy.  Parker House Designs walks you through the
    confusion of choices of things like color schemes, flooring options,
    appropriate lighting, window treatments and much more...

What an incredible transformation!  A beautiful renovation completed by these
business/homeowners.  I am thrilled to have been a part of this project.
A final note from the business owners:

We're writing to let you know how much we are enjoying our new Office space.  
We still stand at the door in awe of what a total transformation took place.  
Having you come at the beginning and set forth a floor plan was the greatest
thing we did.  Knowing exactly how much furniture would fit in the space and
where it should be placed was such a help with all the electrical plugs for the
computer and office equipment.  

Our color choices were fantastic.  Having you come with large swatches and
leave them on the walls so we could see how the different lights would affect
them was genius.  We certainly got the calming, creative colors that we were
looking for.

....This move went so smoothly.  I gave one of your plan layouts to the movers.  
We packed everything with corresponding numbers to each area on the layout.  
The movers loved it and so did I!!!!   Having you here on moving day to make
sure that the placement of all the furniture was exact was wonderful."
