chosen their fixtures and wanted to see how everything would fit into the space
so they could confidently place orders and start running the plumbing.

Amy Parker of Parker House Designs has come to each of our home
projects with great enthusiasm, knowledge, reliability and honesty.

My husband and I have undertaken a ‘do it yourself ’ addition from the
ground up. Amy has been involved with this project before the partitions
were put into place. Using her computer design program she input all the
room measurements and was able to assist us in choosing furniture size
and fixture placements without our usual trial and error system.

Amy’s attention to detail and her ability to really listen to what it is I am
trying to achieve has assisted us in transforming a very small and
outdated bathroom to a place much like a  sanctuary for a long relaxing
soak after a day of putting up sheetrock.

Working with Amy has been fun and it has given me a better
understanding on how to
make decisions about colors and styles with a confidence I was greatly
lacking.

Once the placement was determined, the focus shifted to the details including
flooring selection, wall color choice, storage options and a custom window
treatment.
An Oriental theme was chosen based on heirloom drawings that the home owners wanted
to incorporate into the room.   Embroidered fabric was used to create the window
treatment and was framed out with a textured fabric.
