"Rejuvenating Homes One Room at a Time"

CHILD’S BEDROOM PROJECT
The Problem:
This bedroom was in constant disarray because there was not a “place” for
everything. The child was growing out of many of the toys and décor items that were
cluttering up her space. She was longing for a more sophisticated room that she
could play in with her friends.

The Solution:
This room was completed organized to address the needs of this growing girl.
- Toys were sorted through and many items donated to make room for a new
desk (made from recycled shelving that was already in the home) and new,
affordable storage units to house her toys that are used on a daily basis.
- The wall décor items were either passed on or relocated.
- An unused furniture piece was replaced with a bookcase (found in another
room of the home) that holds magazines, stationary and lots of chapter books!
- A canopy (that was revised with beads) and new bed skirt updated this girl’s
Princess Daybed beautifully.
This was an amazing transformation and this young girl has been able to keep her
“new room” tidy with very little effort. The days of spending all day cleaning her room
are over!
